Splashing Around the World

Adventure, Experiences, New Place, Different Cultures, Beautiful Cities, Nature... all encompass why I love to travel. I may not be able to conquer it all but I will try my hardest to make it around the world leaving little ripples as I go.

Bula Bula- Fiji

Bula Bula. 10 days in Fiji was quite the adventure. We spent the first four on the coolest boat ever, The Tui Tai, which translates to "The Chief of the other side." And then we spent the rest of the trip at the Jean Michel Cousteau resort in Savu Savu. My absolute favorite part of Fiji was the people. They are the most welcoming people I have ever met. I can truly say that I made some amazing friends. I just wish they didn't live so far away! Below are my favorite photos from the trip :)

Daley enjoyed the pool at the Jean Michel Cousteau Resort.
Isoa, picking at a massive termite nest. It was crazy. He let them crawl on his hands.
A sea snake. They are super poisonous but normally small enough to where it won't hurt humans. This one was the largest our dive master had ever seen. Ahhhhhh
Our L'Aventure Dive Boat
A sunset from our Bure
Out at a night club in Savu Savu. We danced all night long :)
The island is named Cobia. It is a U shaped volcano island with coral reef on the north side. It was definitely my favorite excursion on the trip. We saw a termite nest, goats, bats and sea shell fossils. It was so gorgeous!
After a long time of trolling we finally caught a Baracuda!!1
Dive buddies :)
A view of the Jean Michel Cousteau Resort from the ocean.
Glassy water.
Another amazing sunset.
Our bure.

So many colors :)

36 Hours in Panama.

Yep I was given the task of 36 hours in Panama. At first I was a little annoyed I would be travelling so far away for such a short amount of time. I was proven wrong and it ends up that you can see a lot of a country in 36 hours that we had there.

We are extremely lucky we have parking meters and/ or machines. Once you got out of customs and waiting for your bag we were greeted by this long line :)

We travelled to Zona Libre- the free zone, where we checked out Body Glove's showroom and got down to business. Here is a photo of me in the wherehouse down there!!! It was massive!

One of my favorite parts of the trip was for sure the Panama Canal. This is seriously one of the coolest things I have ever seen and it was created in 1913. So crazy that almost 100 years ago they could create something so safisticated.

A nice Balboa beer while watching the boats pass through the canal.

Canal Sunset :)

I cannot wait to go back and explore Panama. It was such a gorgeous country and there is so much fun stuff to do there. Till next time!!!

The Christian Okoye Foundation/ NFL Pro Bowl Practice

Mark, Brandon and I got to go to the NFL Pro Bowl Practice. Here I am standing next to NY Giant Zac DeOssie's helmet.

The Christian Okoye Foundation partnered with Hooters for a Bikini Contest. The event was sponsored by Coors Light and Bare Foot wine... yum! In the photo is Christian Okoye, Matt Pagan and Kayce Mathess.
Education. Ideas. Sports. The primary mission of the Christian Okoye Foundation is to capture the passion children have for sports, and direct that energy to enhance their educational and personal goals. The Foundation draws at-risk and underprivileged youth by hosting free athletic clinics, where well-known professional athletes coach the kids. Once at the Foundation's events, the kids are given unparalleled training in sports and, importantly, are encouraged to develop business and entrepreneurial skills by the Foundation's corporate sponsors. The Foundation's decision to use athletics as a vehicle for exposing the kids to the business world gave rise to the Foundation's motto, “Education, Ideas and Sports.”
Cheering some Barefoot Champagne.

And of course I have to get a big high five with the Body Glove foam hand!

Outrigger Canoeing in Hawaii

What a better way to enjoy the view of diamond head than from out at Tong's surfbreak in an Outrigger Canoe.... It was such a fun afternoon with Matt Pagan, Kayce Mathess, Mark Paaluhi and Stein Metzger.
Diamond Head
Paddling for the wave...
It was a little scary, I didn't want to flip over but here is a great shot of us dropping in!

Enjoying the ride... Shaka!

Thank you Stein Metzger for taking us out!
